This is a 5+ hour course designed for the person who owns an AR style rifle and wants to know everything about it. Students will learn the right way to equip their AR, what BUIS are and whether or not they need or want an optic, light or laser. Students will learn the proper way to zero their gun for the distance they will be shooting. Students will learn the proper types of ammo to use on different threats and how to disassemble and maintain their rifle for optimum efficiency and much more. The student will walk away with the knowledge needed to see why the AR is such an effective home defense platform.

All citizens wanting to take this class must possess at the time of registration a valid concealed weapon carry permit from their state of residence. If your state has no permit, then a letter of reference from your local police chief stating your good intentions and standing under the law will suffice. You are not authorized to receive this training if you have prior felony convictions, history of domestic violence, substance abuse, or mental illness history.
Upon arriving at the Range, if the gate is closed, please text or call 290-0208 and we will let you in . The course will begin in the classroom of the clubhouse. Parking is very limited so you’ll need to park at the clubhouse area or on the upper range area to the left of the clubhouse.
