Introduction to Handgun

Cost $90 - (we supply all materials)

This is  a 4+ hour course designed for students with limited or no experience  with handguns. By the end of the course, the student will have learned  the common types of handguns, how to safely handle them, loading and  unloading procedures, information on purchasing ammunition, selecting a  handgun and tips on safe storage of a handgun. During the hands-on  portion of the class, each student will receive one-on-one instruction  at the firing line reviewing safety, proper grip and stance prior to  firing the first shot. Students will be able to shoot a variety of  handguns of their choosing for familiarity.  Students will leave this  course with the knowledge and a written list of what type of handgun(s)  they are comfortable and proficient with so they can make an educated  decision when purchasing their own firearm.  This course will be held in  the cabin and upper range.

Handguns, ammunition, hearing and eye protection will be supplied.

Please DO NOT bring any personal firearms or ammunition to class unless given prior approval from the instructor.   Students wishing to fire their own handguns must talk with the  instructor prior to class to determine if it will be possible. Most  scheduled classes will not allow it, but most private classes can.
