This is a 5+ hour entry level course designed for the student who has taken the Introduction to Handgun and has now purchased their own firearm. Or who has a handgun already but wants to know much more about it. This course will involve disassembly and reassembly, cleaning and manipulation of your firearm to include magazine changes, malfunctions, draw and presentation, single hand and support hand shooting and much more. We will discuss the different holsters for various activities to help you decide what is right for your needs. If you already have a holster bring it. If not, one will be provided for the shooting portion of the course. Range time will consist of perfecting your stance, grip, the fundamentals of shooting and defensive shooting drills.
Due to the shortage of ammo we are currently experiencing the round count for this class will be100-150 rounds. We will incorporate more dry training while utilizing the live rounds to validate the dry practice.
